Tealvana is an owner-operated web design business in Livingston, Texas, founded and run by Walter Teal. I build websites for local businesses and handle the hosting and updates myself. My prices are published below and on the pricing page.
There’s no showroom. We can meet at your shop or work by phone and screen share. Either way, you deal with me.
Two ways to get a website
Starter Site: $295 to build, then $49 a month. One page with tap-to-call, a contact form that sends to your inbox, hours, address, a directions link and up to six of your own photos. It goes live within five business days after your photos and hours arrive. The monthly price covers hosting, SSL, backups, security updates, monthly tests of the form and phone links, and one round of text changes per quarter.
Website Care: $995 to build, then $125 a month. Built for your business, not from a template, and open to any local business. It includes:
- Phone-first design with tap-to-call
- A contact form that sends to your inbox
- Directions and live Google reviews on the page
- Hosting, backups and security
- Up to three content changes a month by text or email, completed within two business days
Start with a Starter Site and move up within 12 months, and the $295 build fee comes off the Website Care price. Ideal Truck took that route. A redesign, new section or work beyond the included changes gets a separate quote, and you see that price before I start.

How a build goes
- Call or text me. We talk by phone, by screen share or at your shop.
- We pick Starter Site or Website Care. If you already have a site, rescuing it, rebuilding it or taking over maintenance are all normal.
- I give you a real date, not a flattering one. I take a limited number of builds at a time.
- You send your photos, hours and details. These are usually the bottleneck, not the build.
- The site goes live on your domain. I handle the hosting and the updates included in your plan.
Who it’s a good fit for
- Trades and home service businesses whose customers call from a phone
- Retail stores and local shops
- Offices and practices: a chiropractor, an accountant, a church
- A business whose current site is down, dated or has nobody maintaining it
Who it’s not a good fit for
- Online stores, booking systems or blogs on a Starter Site. That plan is one page.
- Google Ads, paid social or broad SEO. Those aren’t included.
- Anyone who wants a promise of the first page or number one on Google. I don’t make that promise.
- Stock photos on Website Care. I use your own photos.
What it runs on
I build static sites on Cloudflare. They load fast. There’s no database to hack and no plugin to break itself at 2 a.m.
You own your domain. There’s no contract or lock-in. You can stop, or take the $1,900 buyout: migration to your own hosting account, domain transfer, all content and images, and setup of your admin access.

Who owns the domain?
You do. The domain belongs to your business, not Tealvana, and that stays true if you stop the service.
Can I send changes from my phone?
Yes. Website Care includes up to three content changes a month by text or email, done within two business days. Starter Site includes one round of text changes per quarter.
Do I have to buy the Google Maps service too?
No. Websites are sold on their own. You can get a Starter Site or Website Care without buying Local Visibility.
Will you promise Google rankings?
No. Nobody controls that, and anyone who promises it is guessing.
